How to Remove Bad Caps

Simply add a small drop of the flux to the bottom of the bad caps pad, directly where the capacitor lead comes out of the hole, and melt a bit of the included Quik Chip metal alloy, and you will be able to quickly unsolder the hard to melt lead free solder on the circuit board, and remove the bad capacitors with much greater ease. The flux helps prevent oxidation and improves the soldering wetting action (melts the solder faster). The Chip Quik alloy helps reduce the soldering temperatures required for unsoldering the bad caps and extends the time the solder is in a molten state, thus making it much easier to remove the bad caps from the PCB. This is a great product for all types of PCB repairs and circuit board reworks.
